Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a woman who has not yet gone through menopause and are between 18 and 49 years old at the time of signing up.
  • You have been diagnosed with endometriosis within the last 10 years.
  • You experience moderate to severe pain related to endometriosis.
  • You have had at least one regular menstrual cycle (lasting between 21 and 35 days) before and during the initial screening period.
  • You are willing to switch to only the pain medications allowed by the study, and to stop any other endometriosis treatments, from screening through to the end of the trial.
  • You agree to use non-hormonal contraception (birth control that does not contain hormones) from sign-up until 4 weeks after your last dose of the study medication.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have previously had your uterus removed (hysterectomy) and/or both ovaries removed, or plan to have either procedure during the study.
  • You have ongoing pelvic or other chronic pain that is not caused by endometriosis and requires regular pain treatment, which could affect pain assessments in the study.
  • An ultrasound of your pelvis shows a possible need for surgery or raises any concern about cancer.
  • You have had unexplained abnormal vaginal or uterine bleeding in the 3 months before screening.
  • You are planning any non-emergency surgery during the study, or you had surgery within the past 4 months and still need ongoing pain management for it.
  • You have a history of severe depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the past two years, or a history of any other serious mental health condition at any point in your life.
  • You have had a problem with drug or alcohol misuse in the past 6 months.
  • You have taken part in another clinical trial in the past month before screening.
  • You have used certain long-acting or immediate-release pain medications for endometriosis pain for more than 2 weeks in a row during the 6 months before screening (confirm with trial site for details on which medications apply).
  • You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
