Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who receive medical care at a primary healthcare hospital in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, and have had a chest X-ray taken there
- People who are older than 15 years of age
- People who have respiratory symptoms or signs that may be related to tuberculosis
- People who have not previously been diagnosed with active pulmonary (lung) tuberculosis

- People who are diagnosed with a form of tuberculosis that affects parts of the body other than the lungs, or with a hidden (inactive) tuberculosis infection, at the time of their current visit
- People whose chest X-ray images are not clear enough or do not meet the quality standards required for the study
- People whose identity information cannot be confirmed or is not recognised in the system
- People who are unable to complete the required follow-up period during the study
- People who experience a sudden serious illness during the study, or who choose to stop participating
