Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis (MG), confirmed by a blood test showing specific antibodies (anti-AChR antibodies)
- You also had at least one of the following: an abnormal nerve test (such as single-fibre EMG or repetitive nerve stimulation), a positive "edrophonium" test, or your MG symptoms improved when taking cholinesterase inhibitor medications
- Your MG symptoms began no more than 3 years before joining the study
- Your MG is rated at a moderate to severe level (MGFA class IIb to IV — confirm with trial site)
- You meet the eligibility requirements set by the Italian medicines agency (AIFA) to receive the study drug, Ravulizumab
- You have received the required meningitis vaccinations at least two weeks before starting treatment, or are taking preventive antibiotics as directed
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to understand or sign a consent form
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to the study drug or any of its ingredients
- The study drug is otherwise medically unsuitable for you based on official prescribing guidelines
- You have previously been treated with a type of drug called a C5 inhibitor
- You received a drug called Rituximab less than 6 months before enrolling
- You received a type of drug called an FcRn blocker less than 3 months before enrolling
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
- You are planning to move to a different location during the study
- You are unsure whether you can attend all the required study visits
- You are unable to fill in study questionnaires
- You are currently taking part in, or have previously taken part in, another clinical trial involving a treatment
