Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have signed an informed consent form agreeing to take part in the study
- People whose cancer has been confirmed through a tissue biopsy as nasopharyngeal carcinoma (a type of cancer at the back of the nose) or another head and neck cancer
- People for whom radiotherapy (radiation treatment) is considered an appropriate treatment option and who are willing to receive it
- People with a good general level of physical functioning, rated 0 or 1 on a standard performance scale (meaning able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation)
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old
- People whose blood tests and other laboratory results show that their organs (such as liver and kidneys) are working well enough
Who may not be able to join:
- People for whom radiotherapy is medically not safe or not recommended
- People who have been diagnosed with another type of cancer at the same time
- People whose tissue biopsy samples are not available for review
- People who have serious ongoing health conditions that could make participation risky or difficult, such as unstable heart disease requiring treatment, chronic hepatitis, poorly controlled kidney disease, uncontrolled diabetes (with fasting blood sugar above a certain level), or mental health disorders
- People whom the trial researchers have determined, for any other reason, are not suitable to participate in this study
