  • You are willing to voluntarily sign a consent form to take part in the study.

  • You have been diagnosed with moderate-to-moderately-severe chronic kidney disease (stages 3–4), meaning your kidneys are working at a reduced level, confirmed by a specific kidney function test result for at least 3 months.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have another sleep disorder, such as restless legs syndrome or a condition causing abnormal leg movements during sleep.
  • You have a serious heart condition, such as severe heart failure, a heart attack, unstable chest pain, or a stroke in the past 3 months.
  • You have a serious heart rhythm problem that requires medication or a medical device to manage.
  • You have a lung or breathing condition, such as COPD, asthma, or a significant chest deformity.
  • You have a neurological condition, such as myasthenia gravis, Parkinson's disease, or Alzheimer's disease.
  • You have active liver disease or serious liver problems.
  • You have a mental health condition, such as depression or an anxiety disorder.
  • You have had cancer in the past 5 years (except for a type of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma that has been fully cured).
  • You have an overactive thyroid that is not under control.
  • You had surgery or a serious infection within the past 3 months.
  • You currently drink heavily — more than 3 drinks per day or 7 per week if female, or more than 4 drinks per day or 14 per week if male.
  • You currently take certain medications that can significantly affect sleep, such as antipsychotics, antidepressants, epilepsy medications, Parkinson's medications, or opioid painkillers.
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are unable to complete the study requirements for any reason, such as language barriers, low literacy, or difficulty tolerating sleep monitoring.
  • The trial doctor has determined for any other reason that the study may not be right for you (confirm with trial site).
