Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 70 years old at the time of joining the study
• You have been diagnosed with migraine with aura, migraine without aura, and/or chronic migraine
• Your migraines started before you were 50 years old
• You have been experiencing migraines for at least 12 months before joining
• You have at least 4 days per month with moderate to severe headaches lasting 4+ hours, or days when you take migraine-specific medication — confirmed through a 4-week headache diary before the study begins
• If you are already taking a medication to prevent migraines, you are willing to stay on the same dose for the first 16 weeks of the study
• You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• If you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the study
• You are willing and able to give your informed consent to participate
• You are willing and able to attend all required study visits

Who may not be able to join:

• You have a medical reason why you cannot take atogepant, propranolol, or topiramate (the study medications)
• You are currently taking, or have previously taken, atogepant, propranolol, or topiramate on a regular basis (note: occasional as-needed use of propranolol, such as for anxiety, does not disqualify you)
• You are unwilling to take any of the three study medications
• You are currently taking a CGRP-targeting migraine prevention medication or a beta-blocker
• You have a specific migraine type involving the brainstem, one side of the body becoming temporarily weak (hemiplegic), the retina, aura without any headache at all, migraines only tied to your menstrual cycle, or certain other headache conditions involving facial or nerve pain
• You have headaches caused by another medical condition (note: medication overuse headache does not disqualify you)
• You have started a new migraine prevention medication or changed your dose within the past 12 weeks
• You have used opioid painkillers or butalbital on 5 or more days per month on average for at least 3 months before joining
• You currently have or have previously had epilepsy
• You have severe liver problems
• You have moderate or severe kidney problems
