Who might be able to join this trial:
Healthy Volunteers:
- Adults aged 18 or older who consider themselves fit and healthy
- People who are current employees of the Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) and/or the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR)
Patients:
- Adults aged 18 or older who are already having a liver MRI scan as part of their normal medical care, and whose previous MRI showed signs of fat in the liver (steatosis)
Who may not be able to join:
Healthy Volunteers:
- People who are currently being investigated for an undiagnosed condition, or who are planning to see their GP about one — especially anything related to the pelvis or abdomen
- People who do not have an NHS number or are not registered with a GP
Patients:
- People who have severe liver scarring or severe liver disease (known as fibrosis stage F4 or severe cirrhosis)
