Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) at a specific stage (stage IIA to IIIB), confirmed by a tissue or cell sample, who have not yet received any treatment for it.
- People whose cancer has been assessed by a specialist team as suitable for surgical removal.
- People whose cancer does not have certain genetic changes (known as EGFR or ALK mutations) — this applies to those with non-squamous type NSCLC; people with squamous type NSCLC do not need to meet this requirement.

- People whose cancer can be measured on standard imaging scans according to a recognised measurement system (RECIST 1.1).
Who may not be able to join:
- People with an active autoimmune disease — though some conditions may be exceptions, including vitiligo, type 1 diabetes, or well-controlled underactive thyroid (confirm with trial site).
- People who have taken steroid medicines (such as prednisone) at higher doses within the past 14 days.
- People with severe (grade 3 or 4) scarring or inflammation of the lung tissue (interstitial lung disease).
- People who are currently being treated for another type of cancer.
- People who have previously received certain types of immunotherapy drugs that target PD-1, PD-L1, or CTLA-4 pathways.
- People with active hepatitis B or C, HIV/AIDS, or who are pregnant.
