Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have given written consent to take part in the study
- People who, in their doctor's opinion, should be reviewed by a specialised skin cancer team (tumor board), particularly those with one of the following:
- Malignant melanoma at stage IIB or higher
- Malignant melanoma where the cancer has returned or changed stage
- Melanoma occurring in areas other than the skin (extracutaneous melanoma)
- Cutaneous (skin) lymphoma from stage Ib onwards
- Difficult or complex cases involving certain skin cancers (such as basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma) with complicated features, such as unusual location, deep spread, or spread to other parts of the body, or where the patient has a weakened immune system
- Any rare malignant skin tumour, regardless of stage (including Merkel cell carcinoma and several other specific rare types)
- Serious side effects from cancer drug treatment
- People who are being treated for their cancer either entirely or partly at a clinic or practice outside the specialised cancer centre (referred to as "external patients")
- Doctors participating in the study must hold a valid medical licence and have skin cancer patients who are suitable for review by the specialised tumor board
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have language barriers or other limitations (such as dementia) that would prevent them from independently agreeing to the study's privacy policy
- People who have not given consent to participate, or who withdraw their consent during the study
- Doctors whose clinic or practice cannot reach a formal cooperation agreement with the study centre
