Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are over 18 years of age.
- People who have been diagnosed with bladder cancer (confirmed by tissue testing) for which their treating doctor has recommended surgical removal of the bladder — for example, muscle-invasive bladder cancer, or high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer that has not responded to BCG treatment or has concerning features under the microscope.
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a known or suspected allergy to sulfur hexafluoride lipid microspheres or any of their ingredients, such as polyethylene glycol (PEG).
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People who do not wish to take part in the study.
- People who have had a serious allergic reaction to a COVID-19 vaccine.
- People whose health is currently unstable — for example, those currently admitted to hospital, in an intensive care unit, or living with serious heart conditions.
