- You have been diagnosed with kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma), either confirmed by a tissue sample or by a specialist medical team's assessment
- Your cancer cannot be treated with surgery, removal of spread tumours, or ablation (burning/freezing) due to factors related to your tumour or your overall health
- You have areas of cancer outside the brain that your doctor feels need radiation treatment

- If you could become pregnant, you have had a negative pregnancy test

- Your life expectancy is expected to be less than 6 months
- You have cancer that has spread to the brain and is not currently under control
- You have already had radiotherapy in a way that makes it unsafe to have more
- You are unable to complete the planning scans or other preparations needed for radiotherapy
- You have other health conditions or personal, family, or location-related circumstances that would make it difficult to attend treatment or follow-up appointments
- You have another active cancer (separate from kidney cancer)
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- You are taking a medication that cannot be safely used alongside radiotherapy (for example, methotrexate)
