Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children between 6 and 11 years old (up to but not including 12 years).
- Children who have a documented medical history of migraines (with or without visual or sensory disturbances before the headache) for at least 6 months before the initial screening appointment.
- Children who weigh more than 15 kg at the initial screening appointment.
Who may not be able to join:
- Children who have evidence or a history of another significant medical condition.
- Children who have had a continuous, non-stop headache in the month before the screening appointment.
- Children whose migraines are of an unusual type, involve complications, or who have another significant pain condition that could interfere with the trial.
- Children who have any condition that could affect how a nasal spray medicine is given or absorbed into the body (confirm with trial site).
- Children who have an uncontrolled or untreated mental health condition, including significant depression or any thoughts or behaviours related to suicide, as measured by specific assessment tools used in the trial.
- Children whose blood test results show that certain liver-related values are above the accepted normal range.
- Children whose heart tracing (ECG) result is abnormal at the screening appointment.
