Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are receiving their first-ever prescription of anifrolumab during the study period, with no prior history of being prescribed this medication
• People for whom at least 12 months of medical history is available before the date of their first anifrolumab prescription
• People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of their first anifrolumab prescription
• People who have been assessed as having moderate to severe lupus (SLE) at the time of their first anifrolumab prescription
• People who have experienced at least one lupus flare (a period where the disease was not well controlled) in the six months before their first anifrolumab prescription

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have been diagnosed with any form of cancer before the date of their first anifrolumab prescription
• People who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS or a condition where the immune system does not work properly from birth, prior to their first anifrolumab prescription
• People who have had an organ transplant or bone marrow transplant at any point before their first anifrolumab prescription
• People who have had a serious infection in the six months before their first anifrolumab prescription
