Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 18 and 80 years old, of any gender
- People who have locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (a type of lung cancer that has spread or grown significantly) and whose cancer has not responded to standard treatments, or who are unable to tolerate standard treatments
- People with a general health score of 0 or 1 on a standard activity scale, meaning they are fully active or able to carry out light work (confirm with trial site)
- People whose doctors expect them to live for at least 12 weeks
- People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on a scan, located outside the brain or spinal cord
- People who are willing to follow the study requirements and attend follow-up visits
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord and has not been treated, or is currently active, including people with a history of cancer spreading to the lining of the brain or spinal cord
- People who have had a serious infection or major surgery in the 4 weeks before joining
- People who have had, or currently have, another type of cancer (separate from the lung cancer being studied)
- People who have ongoing nausea, vomiting, or other digestive conditions that would make it difficult to take oral (swallowed) medication
- People who have had major surgery (other than a diagnostic procedure or biopsy) within 28 days before the first dose, or minor surgery involving injury or trauma within 7 days before the first dose
