Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with episodic migraine (with or without aura) for at least 12 months, and you can tell the difference between your migraines and other types of headaches
- Your migraines first started before you were 50 years old
- In each of the 3 months before your screening appointment, you had no more than 14 headache days per month, and between 6 and 14 of those days were migraine days
- In the last 28 days of your screening period, you experienced no more than 14 headache days, with between 6 and 14 of those being migraine days recorded in a headache diary
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with chronic migraine
- You have been diagnosed with other primary headache conditions, unless it is tension-type headache, which is allowed
- You have been diagnosed with certain specific migraine or headache conditions, such as aura without headache, hemiplegic migraine, retinal migraine, or several other less common types (confirm with trial site)
- You have a headache condition caused by another underlying illness or health problem, unless it is medication overuse headache, which is allowed
- You are currently taking more than one prescribed medication to prevent migraines
- You stopped taking a specific type of migraine prevention injection (anti-CGRP monoclonal antibody) less than 5 months before your screening appointment
