Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a lung condition called IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis)
- You are able to follow and take part in guided exercise or technique training sessions
- You are between 40 and 85 years old
- You are able to use a smartphone or computer on your own or with help from a family member, for home-based training
- You are willing to take part and have signed a consent form agreeing to join the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- Your IPF is currently in a sudden flare-up or worsening phase
- You have another lung condition such as COPD, lung cancer, active tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, or a blood clot in the lungs
- You have a serious heart or brain condition, such as a dangerous irregular heartbeat, unstable chest pain, a recent heart attack, significant heart failure, stroke, or bleeding in the brain
- You have serious liver disease (such as cirrhosis with complications) or serious kidney disease (such as needing dialysis or having had a kidney transplant)
- You have severe bone or joint disease, severe osteoporosis, or a fracture that is not stable
- You have a muscle or nerve disease that is getting progressively worse
- You have problems with memory, confusion, dementia, or a mental health condition that affects your thinking
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant soon
- You have taken part in another clinical trial within the last month
- You need a breathing machine (ventilator) long-term, or your overall health signs are unstable while you are at rest in bed
