Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 80 years
- People whose imaging results suggest they may have non-small cell lung cancer
- People who have a solid lung nodule of 8mm or larger found on a chest CT scan, where their treating doctor has recommended both a PET/CT scan and surgical removal or biopsy of the nodule in line with 2024 NCCN guidelines
- People (or their family members) who have agreed to take part and have signed a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have had surgery or a physical injury in the past that significantly changed how their body processes substances or altered their internal anatomy
- People who have a serious disease affecting other body systems, or who are known to have had an allergic reaction to humanised monoclonal antibody products (a type of laboratory-made protein used in some treatments)
- People who are unable to cooperate during a PET/CT scan
- People who have taken part in another clinical study in the past year where the total radiation exposure from that study exceeded 50 mSv (a unit used to measure radiation dose) — beyond what is expected from this study
- People whom the trial investigator considers should not participate, for any reason (confirm with trial site)
