Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older, of any sex, who have been diagnosed with locally advanced, inoperable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has been confirmed by laboratory testing of tissue or cell samples, and where specific gene markers (EGFR, ALK, or ROS1) have been tested
- People whose tumor is located in the outer part of the lung, or in the central part of the lung but is not mainly made up of a certain cell type called squamous cells (less than 50% squamous)
- People who are reasonably active and able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard medical scoring system (confirm with trial site for exact score details)
- People who have already received at least 4 weeks of chemotherapy, or chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy, without the cancer getting worse during that time
- People whose tumor does not have a hollow cavity inside it and is located at least 1 cm away from the main blood vessel of the lung
- People who have no symptoms of coughing up blood
- People whose liver and kidney are functioning adequately, with no significant protein detected in urine testing
- People who are expected to live for more than 6 months
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently being treated for cancer in another part of the body (with the exception of certain easily treatable skin cancers or a very early stage of cervical cancer)
- People who have had another cancer diagnosis within the past five years
- People who have had chest radiation treatment, coughed up blood, a heart attack, or a stroke within the past three months
- People who have active or uncontrolled lung inflammation
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- People who are pregnant
