Who might be able to join this trial:

Healthcare Providers (called "Provider Trainees"):

• Primary care providers working at one of the participating clinics, including Medical Doctors (MD), Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Physician Assistants (PA), or Nurse Practitioners (NP) who have already finished their residency training (where required) and are able to refer patients to certain nutrition and behavioral health services.
• Behavioral health professionals working at a participating clinic, such as Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, or Psychiatrists.
• Registered Dietitians or Registered Dietitian Nutritionists working at a participating clinic.
• Community Health Workers, or people in a similar role, working at a participating clinic.

Patients (from participating clinics):

• Children or young people aged 5 to 20, or adults aged 21 and older, who are Medicaid recipients, meet the Missouri Medicaid eligibility criteria related to obesity, and have been seen at one of the participating clinic sites.

Who may not be able to join:

Healthcare Providers:

• Providers who do not work at one of the participating clinics.
• Primary care providers who are not able to refer patients to the relevant nutrition or behavioral health services.
• Doctors who are still completing their residency training.
• Doctors who specialise in reproductive health or closely related fields.

Patients:

• Patients who do not have a diagnosis of obesity.
• Patients who are not enrolled in Medicaid.
• Children under the age of 5.
• People who are not patients at one of the participating clinics.
