Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who served in the US military after September 11, 2001, and are currently enrolled at VA San Diego or VA Portland
• People who are able to give their informed consent to participate
• People who are living independently (not in a care facility)

• People who have a history of moderate to severe traumatic brain injury, meaning they lost consciousness for more than 30 minutes
• People who have a history of macular degeneration (a condition affecting vision) or bipolar disorder, as these conditions are not compatible with the bright light therapy used in this trial
• People who work night shifts or rotating swing shifts
• People who have untreated obstructive sleep apnea, either based on what they report or based on their score on a screening questionnaire
• People who are currently using bright light therapy
• People who have hearing or vision impairments that would prevent them from participating in the trial's assessments or treatments
