Who might be able to join this trial:
- People of any sex who are 18 years of age or older
- People willing to sign a consent form and follow all study requirements
- People who have been confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy) to have a type of kidney cancer called renal cell carcinoma (RCC) with a "clear cell" component
- People who have between 2 and 10 areas of disease, each measuring at least 1.5 cm, visible on a contrast CT scan or MRI of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis taken within the last 60 days before joining the study
- People whose recent blood test results meet specific levels for liver function, kidney function, and blood cell counts (confirm exact values with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have received systemic treatment (such as medication given throughout the body) for this type of kidney cancer within the past 12 months
- People who have received a radioactive substance within a certain time period before the study injection (based on the substance used — confirm timeframe with trial site)
- People with a medical condition or situation that, in the study doctor's opinion, could affect the reliability of the study results or the person's ability to complete the trial
- Women who could become pregnant and do not have a negative pregnancy test taken within 24 hours before the imaging day
