Patient group (people with a rare eye disease):
- Adults aged 18 or older, including those who are planning to become pregnant
- People who are willing and able to read and understand the consent forms
- People who have been diagnosed with one of the following rare eye diseases (a specific diagnosis for each condition is required, sometimes including genetic testing): Aniridia-Associated Keratopathy (AAK), Neurotrophic Keratopathy (NK), Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency (LSCD), Ocular Cicatricial Pemphigoid (OCP), Ocular Chronic Graft-Versus-Host Disease (OC GVHD), Ectrodactyly-Ectodermal dysplasia-Clefting syndrome (EEC), or Corneal Neovascularization (CNV)
- People who are enrolled in, or covered by, a social security or health insurance scheme
Control group (people without a rare eye disease):
- Adults aged 18 or older, including those who are planning to become pregnant
- People who are willing and able to read and understand the consent forms
- People who have not been diagnosed with any of the rare eye diseases listed above
- People who are enrolled in, or covered by, a social security or health insurance scheme
Who may not be able to join:
Patient group:
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, if the biological sample collection would cause them stress or discomfort
- People whose cornea is at immediate risk of perforation (a serious structural eye emergency)
- People who have had eye surgery within the last 3 months
- People who have had a change in their eye drop medications (type or how often they use them) within the last month
- People who are under a legal protection or guardianship arrangement
Control group:
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who currently have an active eye infection
- People whose cornea is at immediate risk of perforation (a serious structural eye emergency)
- People who have had eye surgery within the last 3 months
- People who have had a change in their eye drop medications (type or how often they use them) within the last month
- People who are under a legal protection or guardianship arrangement
