Who might be able to join this trial:
- People for whom doctors suspect bladder cancer that has grown into the muscle wall, based on a camera examination of the bladder (cystoscopy) and imaging done before that procedure.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose other health conditions mean they are not expected to live longer than 3 months.
- People who are pregnant.
- People who are breastfeeding.
- People who have had chemotherapy (cancer-fighting drugs) in the last 6 weeks.
- People who have had radiotherapy (radiation treatment) in the last 6 weeks.
- People who have had a bladder tumour removal procedure (called a TURBt) in the last 6 weeks.
- People with severely reduced kidney function, as measured by a specific blood test result (confirm with trial site).
- People who have metal implants in their body that are not safe to use with an MRI scanner.
- People who experience severe anxiety in enclosed spaces (claustrophobia), which can make MRI scanning difficult.
- People who do not agree to sign a written consent form to take part in the study.
