Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed with head and neck cancer
- People who are receiving radiotherapy treatment at Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital, Radiation Oncology Clinic
- People who are willing to take part and can sign a written consent form
- People who are able to communicate and cooperate during assessments
Who may not be able to join:
- People for whom a body composition measurement (called BIA) cannot be performed — for example, those who have had caffeine in the last 4 hours, alcohol in the last 24 hours, intense exercise in the last 24–48 hours, are currently menstruating, or have a pacemaker or metal implants in their body
- People who have difficulty communicating or who have cognitive impairments affecting their understanding
- People who have had a limb amputation or who have severe deformities affecting the upper limbs
- People who have neuromuscular disorders, hemiplegia (paralysis on one side of the body), rheumatoid arthritis, or moderate to severe neurological or cognitive conditions
- People who are receiving nutrition delivered directly into a vein (called parenteral nutrition)
