Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have served in the military at some point in your life
  • You have had at least one mild traumatic brain injury (concussion) in your past
  • Your most recent brain injury happened more than one year ago
  • You are currently experiencing a significant number of ongoing symptoms after your concussion, based on a symptom questionnaire score (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently having trouble sleeping
  • You can speak and understand English fluently
  • You are able to understand and agree to participate in the study on your own

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have had a moderate or severe brain injury, meaning you were unconscious for more than 30 minutes, had memory loss lasting more than 24 hours after the injury, or had bleeding in the brain shown on a scan
  • You have a pacemaker, an implanted heart device (such as a defibrillator), have had a heart transplant, or have had heart surgery in the past year (not including a stent)
  • You have a history of stroke
  • You have certain mental health conditions that might make it difficult to follow the study plan, such as dementia, a psychotic disorder, or panic disorder (confirm with trial site)
