Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are willing and able to give your consent to take part in the trial

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are unable to follow a recommended standard breakfast routine as part of the study (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a stomach or bowel condition that affects how your body absorbs medication, such as inflammatory bowel disease, a malabsorption condition, or you have had major surgery on your stomach, pancreas, liver, or small intestine
  • You have taken certain medications or foods that can affect how cabozantinib works in your body — including ketoconazole, grapefruit juice, clarithromycin, erythromycin, itraconazole, or ritonavir — within the past month (confirm with trial site)
  • You have taken certain other medications that can reduce how well cabozantinib works — including rifampicin, phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, or St. John's Wort herbal preparations — within the past month
  • You have taken certain other specific medications that can interact with cabozantinib — including cyclosporine, delavirdine, efavirenz, emtricitabine, benzbromarone, or probenecid — within the past month
