Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You are able to understand and agree (or not object) to taking part in the study
- You have been referred for a cardiac MRI and/or nuclear heart imaging scan
- You are being investigated for a suspected heart condition related to inflammation or immune system activity, which includes any one of the following: suspected myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle, whether recent or long-term); suspected heart attack where the coronary arteries were not blocked (known as MINOCA); suspected Tako-Tsubo (sometimes called "broken heart syndrome," a temporary heart condition); suspected pericarditis (inflammation of the lining around the heart, whether recent or long-term); a suspected connective tissue disease affecting the heart, such as systemic sclerosis, lupus, antiphospholipid syndrome, inflammatory muscle diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, or spondylarthritis; a suspected blood vessel inflammation condition affecting the heart, such as small-vessel or large-vessel vasculitis (including Behcet disease or Takayasu disease); or a suspected inflammatory disease affecting the heart, such as sarcoidosis or Still disease
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to understand or give your agreement (or non-objection) to take part in the study
- You have previously had a heart transplant
