  • People who have previously had radiotherapy to the pelvic area
  • People who have a chronic bladder condition known as interstitial cystitis (a long-term painful bladder condition)
  • People who have a permanent urinary catheter (a tube inserted to drain urine)
  • People who are under 18, or who are under a legal guardianship or protection arrangement
  • People whose tumour is confirmed as non-cancerous after laboratory analysis of the tissue removed (such as an inverted papilloma or a non-cancerous inflammatory lesion)
