Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 12 and 59 years old
• You are male or female
• You have been diagnosed with an autoimmune rheumatic disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, or vasculitis) based on recognised medical standards
• Your autoimmune condition has been stable for at least 3 months
• You are either taking no immunosuppressive (immune-lowering) medications, or only low-level ones such as hydroxychloroquine, sulfasalazine, low-dose prednisone, methotrexate, leflunomide, azathioprine, or certain combinations of these (confirm with trial site for exact doses)
• You are a healthy volunteer matched by age and sex to a patient in the trial, with no history of autoimmune or long-term infectious diseases and not taking immune-lowering medications
• You are willing and able to follow the study procedures and attend follow-up visits
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you have a negative pregnancy test at the start of the study
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you agree to use effective contraception for at least 90 days after receiving the vaccination

Who may not be able to join:

• You have previously received any dengue vaccine
• You received a live attenuated vaccine (such as certain flu or MMR vaccines) within the past 4 weeks
• You received an inactivated vaccine within the past 2 weeks
• You have a known allergy to any ingredient in the study vaccine
• You have had a fever (38°C / 100°F or higher) in the 72 hours before vaccination
• You have a history of immune deficiency conditions
• You have had your spleen removed or have a non-functioning spleen
• You have a history of cancer
• You have a history of HIV infection
• You have a primary (inherited) immune deficiency condition
• You take immune-suppressing medications due to an organ transplant
• You have an ongoing, uncontrolled long-term health condition such as heart failure, kidney failure, liver problems, or diabetes
• You are currently hospitalised or have an acute illness at the time of screening
• You have received a blood transfusion within the past 3 months
• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• You are planning to become pregnant within 90 days after vaccination
• You have taken part in another clinical trial within the past 30 days
