Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have obesity, meaning a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher
• People whose physical ability and movement has been assessed as reduced, based on a specific test called the Modified Physical Performance Test, with a score between 17 and 31

• People who have a significant condition affecting how their stomach empties food, or who regularly take medications that affect how the digestive system moves food through
• People with a history of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), whether short-term or long-term
• People with abnormally high thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels — though people being treated for an underactive thyroid may still be considered if their medication dose has been stable for at least three months (confirm with trial site)
• People who have had a significantly active or unstable major depressive disorder or other serious psychiatric condition, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, within the last two months that could interfere with taking part in the study
• People with active or chronic hepatitis, or other liver disease, except for a specific condition called Metabolic dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD)
• People with a personal or family history of a specific type of thyroid cancer (medullary thyroid carcinoma) or a related genetic syndrome called multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
• People with a history of active or untreated cancer, or who have been in remission from a significant cancer for less than five years — though certain non-spreading skin cancers and some early-stage cancers may be exceptions (confirm with trial site)
• People who currently use tobacco, drink alcohol heavily (three or more drinks per day for men, or two or more per day for women), actively misuse illegal drugs, or have used marijuana regularly within three months of enrolling and are unwilling to stop during the trial
• People taking medications known to affect the study's measurements or increase the risk of study procedures, where those medications cannot be paused for the study
• People who have already had weight-loss (bariatric) surgery, or who are planning to have bariatric or related procedures during the study
