Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are willing to take part, have been fully informed about the study, and are happy to follow all the trial steps
- You are between 18 and 70 years old (inclusive) at the time of signing the consent form
- You have been diagnosed with glioblastoma (a type of brain tumour) that has come back or continued to grow
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a minimum score on a standard scale, as measured within the 28 days before starting treatment (confirm with trial site)
- Your doctors expect you to live for at least 3 more months
- Your organs (such as liver, kidneys, etc.) are working well enough to take part
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative blood pregnancy test within 7 days before starting treatment
- If you could father or become pregnant, you agree to use effective contraception from signing the consent form until at least 90 days after your last dose
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cancer has spread to parts of the body outside the brain
- You have previously had treatment using oncolytic viruses (viruses used to fight cancer) or gene therapy
- You have taken part in another clinical trial using an unlisted experimental drug or device within the 4 weeks before starting this trial
- You are known to be allergic to any ingredient in the trial drug (VRT106)
- You are unable to have an MRI scan of your head
- You are currently breastfeeding
