Who might be able to join this trial:

• People diagnosed with a specific type of lung cancer called non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that cannot be treated with the goal of curing it.
• People whose lung cancer has a specific gene change (mutation) in the EGFR gene, specifically known as an exon 19 deletion or L858R mutation.
• People whose cancer has continued to grow or spread while being treated with a third-generation EGFR-targeting drug (such as osimertinib, furmonertinib, or lazertinib) as their most recent treatment, whether that was given after surgery, for locally advanced disease, or for cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
• People whose treating doctor considers them suitable to receive a chemotherapy combination containing either cisplatin or carboplatin together with a drug called pemetrexed.

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose liver, kidneys, or other organs, or whose blood cell counts, are not working well enough (confirm with trial site).
• People whose cancer has spread to the fluid around the brain and spinal cord (leptomeningeal metastases), or where the spinal cord is being compressed by the cancer.
• People who have other serious ongoing health conditions that are not well managed or controlled.
