Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 44 and 55 years old

- You have had a broken bone in your spine, wrist, upper arm, hip, or pelvis after the age of 45
- You have a thyroid condition (overactive or underactive) that is not being treated
- You currently have a condition affecting your parathyroid glands (small glands in the neck that control calcium levels)
- You have significantly reduced kidney function
- You currently have abnormal calcium levels in your blood (too high or too low)
- You have a history of spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal)
- You have a history of heart attack, stroke, blood clots, kidney disease, problems absorbing nutrients, or seizures
- You have tested positive for HIV, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, or have been diagnosed with cancer
- You are currently taking or have recently taken certain medications that affect bone health, including various types of bone-strengthening drugs, hormones, or steroids — the specific timeframes vary by medication (confirm with trial site)
- You have used hormonal contraception (such as the pill or hormonal coil) in the past three months
- You are unwilling to eat the food items provided by the study or unwilling to stop taking your own supplement products
