Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have not yet gone through menopause
- People who speak English
- People who are having surgery to remove endometriosis (without removal of the uterus) at Legacy Health, performed by surgeons who specialise in endometriosis care
- People who have a history of ongoing pelvic pain lasting 6 months or longer
- People who have been examined and diagnosed with a condition where the pelvic floor muscles are too tense or tight (confirm with trial site)
- People who have reliable access to email and a phone for communication related to the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not speak English
- People who are not able to give informed consent to participate
- People who are not able to sustain 30 minutes of moderate physical activity at the start of the study
- People who use a walking aid or other mobility device at the start of the study
- People who regularly use opioid pain medications
- People whose surgical tissue samples do not confirm a diagnosis of endometriosis
- People who need to avoid physical activity for more than 2 weeks after surgery
- People who are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant or undergo fertility treatments within 12 weeks after surgery
