Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with a specific type of blood cancer called AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia), but not the subtype known as APL (M3), as classified under WHO 2016 guidelines
- People whose disease is in what doctors call a "complete remission" — meaning no leukaemia cells are visible when a bone marrow sample is looked at under a microscope
- People whose test results still show signs of leukaemia at a very low level (called MRD-positive), detected through specialised bone marrow or blood tests such as flow cytometry, PCR, or gene sequencing looking for specific markers (NPM1, RUNX1-RUNX1T1, CBFB-MYH11, DEK-NUP214, or FLT3)
- People aged 14 years or older, of any gender
- People (or their legal guardian or close family member) who are able to sign a consent form before any study procedures begin
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are planning to have a stem cell transplant within the next 4 weeks
- People whose diagnosis is APL (the M3 subtype of AML)
- People whom the research team considers unsuitable for inclusion for other reasons (confirm with trial site)
