Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 18 and 65 years old
- People who are currently hospitalised for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- People who are taking part in a type of therapy called Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy
- People with moderate to severe OCD symptoms, measured using a standard clinical scale called the Y-BOCS, with a score of 20 or higher
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide or showing suicidal behaviour
- People who have an active psychotic disorder (a condition that can cause a loss of touch with reality)
- People who currently have an active substance use disorder (a problematic pattern of using alcohol or drugs)
- People who have a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) device already implanted for OCD (a device surgically placed in the brain to help manage symptoms)
