Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been officially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) by a neurologist
- People who have not had an MS relapse (a flare-up of symptoms) in the past 3 months and are not currently having one
- People who score 24 or higher on a standard short memory and thinking test called the Mini Mental State Examination
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have serious health conditions affecting the muscles, heart, lungs, or metabolism that could interfere with taking part in the trial
- People who have a history of other neurological disorders, a head injury, or long-term psychiatric conditions
- People who have experienced ongoing pain lasting longer than six months
- People who have significant muscle stiffness in the legs that may affect the results of a muscle activity test called an EMG recording
- People who have difficulties with hearing
- People who have vision problems, as assessed by a standard eye chart test called the Snellen visual acuity test
