You are between 18 and 75 years old
You have been diagnosed with a specific type of stomach cancer (gastric adenocarcinoma) or cancer at the junction where the esophagus meets the stomach, confirmed by a tissue biopsy

You have had unstable chest pain (angina) or a heart attack in the last 6 months
You have had a stroke or bleeding in the brain within the last 6 months
You have been taking steroid tablets or injections long-term within the past month (creams or other local uses are acceptable)
Your stomach cancer is currently causing complications such as bleeding, a hole in the stomach wall, or a blockage
You have taken part in another clinical trial within the last 6 months
