- You have a non-infectious eye inflammation condition (uveitis) that has caused swelling in the central part of your eye (the macula)
- The swelling in your eye has been present for less than four months
- The swelling in your eye has continued even after the eye inflammation itself has settled down
- You have already tried a specific steroid injection behind the eye (called a sub-Tenon triamcinolone injection) but it did not help your condition
Who may not be able to join:
- Your eye swelling is caused by a film of tissue growing on the surface of your retina (called an epiretinal membrane) rather than by inflammation
- You are under 18 years of age
