Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) based on standard medical guidelines (DSM-5).
- You live in Southern California and are able to come in person for treatment sessions 5 days a week for 6 weeks.
- You have already completed at least 10 sessions of a specific type of therapy for OCD called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
- You are currently taking or have previously tried a type of medication for OCD known as Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SRIs), such as certain antidepressants.
- You are willing to keep your psychiatric medication doses the same throughout the full 16 weeks of the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- Your main mental health diagnosis is something other than OCD.
- You are currently struggling with a substance use or addiction problem.
- You are currently having thoughts of suicide or self-harm.
- You are currently experiencing psychosis (such as hearing voices or losing touch with reality).
- You have a history of seizures or epilepsy.
- You have a serious neurological condition affecting your brain or nervous system.
- You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study.
- You have previously received a course of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), which is a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment.
