Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study.
  • You are 18 years old or older at the time of joining.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a condition that affects your ability to absorb food or medication, such as trouble swallowing, a digestive absorption problem, uncontrollable vomiting, or you are currently being fed through a tube or a drip; or you have difficulty eating due to pain or a neurological or psychiatric condition.
  • You are currently taking or planning to take medications that increase appetite or body weight, such as certain steroids (other than short-term use during chemotherapy), hormones, or other appetite-stimulating drugs (confirm specific medications with trial site).
  • You have a hormonal condition called Cushing's syndrome, or your adrenal or pituitary glands do not work properly; or you have diabetes that is not well controlled.
  • You are a woman who has gone through menopause and had unusual vaginal bleeding in the past year; or you are a woman who has not yet gone through menopause and had an unusually thickened womb lining (over 15mm) found on a scan in the past year.
  • There is current evidence from scans or physical symptoms that your bowel or digestive tract is blocked.
