Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with another cancer in the past 2 years (except for certain less aggressive skin or thyroid cancers that were fully treated), or you have ever been diagnosed with melanoma.
- You have a moderate or large build-up of fluid around your lungs, heart, or abdomen that cannot be controlled, including if it needs to be drained repeatedly.
- You have recently received cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or antibody treatments within approximately the past 4 weeks (or sooner depending on the specific drug); certain chemotherapy drugs within 6 weeks; or radiation therapy or other anti-tumor treatments within 2 to 4 weeks before starting the trial.
- You still have significant side effects from previous cancer treatments that have not fully resolved (except hair loss or other effects judged by the trial team to pose no safety risk).
- You have a condition that affects your ability to swallow or absorb medications, such as active stomach ulcers or long-term severe acid reflux.
- You have a serious or uncontrolled heart condition, including an abnormal heart rhythm reading on an ECG (specific QT interval thresholds apply by sex), certain types of heart block, reduced heart pumping function, a heart attack or severe heart failure within the past 6 months, or a blood clot event (such as stroke, deep vein thrombosis, or pulmonary embolism) within the past 6 months, or a known tendency to form blood clots.
- You have severe or poorly controlled diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, chronic lung disease, lung scarring, Parkinson's disease, active bleeding, or a serious active infection that is not under control.
- You have a serious unstable disease affecting your liver, kidneys, or metabolism (such as cirrhosis, kidney failure, or uremia).
- You have taken certain specific medications that interact with how the trial drug is processed in the body within approximately the past 14 days or 5 drug half-lives (confirm the specific drug list with the trial site).
- You have cognitive difficulties, a history of mental illness, dependence on alcohol, hormones, or drugs, or other uncontrolled health conditions.
- You have had an organ or stem cell transplant within the past 3 months, or major surgery or serious injury within the past 4 weeks (routine tissue biopsies are excluded).
- You have a weakened immune system, including being HIV-positive or having another immune deficiency condition.
