Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been formally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) based on a recognised set of medical criteria called the revised McDonald criteria
• People who are 65 years old or younger
• People who are able to walk at least 100 metres, with or without a walking aid, without needing to stop and rest
• People who feel that their balance is affected while standing or walking in everyday life

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have vision problems that have not been corrected with glasses or other treatment
• People who have difficulty understanding instructions or completing questionnaires on their own due to cognitive (thinking or memory) difficulties
• People who are currently experiencing an MS relapse (a flare-up of symptoms) or episodes of spinning dizziness
• People who have another neurological condition (affecting the brain or nervous system) or a bone or joint condition that also affects their balance
• People who have taken part in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or vestibular (balance) therapy within the past month before joining the trial
• People who have received or are planning to receive botulinum toxin (such as Botox) injections in the legs during the trial period
• People who have nerve damage in their legs
• People who have a reason they cannot safely receive electrical stimulation, including: having an implanted electronic device (such as a pacemaker), having active cancer or having received radiation treatment in the past 6 months, having epilepsy that is not well controlled, having a skin rash or open wound where the electrodes would be placed, being pregnant, or having an active blood clot in a deep vein (deep vein thrombosis)
