- Adults aged 18 or older who have kidney disease at any stage of severity, including early signs of protein in the urine, more significant protein loss, chronic kidney disease at various stages (not yet requiring dialysis), or kidney disease after a kidney transplant where protein is present in the urine
- People who are already taking standard kidney-protective medications (such as certain blood pressure or kidney-protecting drugs) may still be eligible to participate

- People who received a kidney transplant less than 12 months ago
- People who have an active, uncontrolled infection or an unstable autoimmune condition at the time of the trial
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the components used in the study treatment
