Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with advanced (stage IV) or returned (recurrent) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue or cell samples
- People whose doctor has already decided, separately from this study, to start them on a specific combination treatment (nivolumab plus ipilimumab, along with 2 cycles of platinum-based chemotherapy) as their first treatment for NSCLC, in line with Italian approved prescribing guidelines, and whose tumour does not have certain specific genetic changes (known as EGFR mutation or ALK translocation)
- People who are at least 18 years old at the time their doctor made the treatment decision
- People who have given written consent to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who currently have another type of cancer (other than NSCLC) that requires active treatment
- People who have previously been treated with nivolumab and/or ipilimumab
- People who are already taking part in another interventional clinical trial for their advanced or recurrent NSCLC
