Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 to 75 of any gender
• People who have been recently diagnosed with a high-grade (grade 4) brain tumour, with at least one measurable tumour area, and where scans suggest the tumour has spread toward the fluid-filled spaces or outer coverings of the brain
• People who had surgery that involved opening into the fluid-filled spaces inside or around the brain
• People in whom cancer cells were found in the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, before radiation treatment began
• People who are generally well enough to care for themselves, with a performance score in a certain range (confirm with trial site), and who are expected to live at least 3 months
• People whose neurological symptoms (such as weakness or coordination problems) have been stable for more than 7 days
• People whose blood counts meet minimum levels — including white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets — as assessed by a doctor
• People whose blood clotting results fall within an acceptable range, as assessed by a doctor
• People whose liver and kidney function results fall within acceptable ranges, as assessed by a doctor
• People who agree to use effective contraception from the start of the trial until at least 3 months after the last dose

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have had an active infection in the 7 days before starting the study treatment that required antibiotics given through a drip, or who are taking a blood-thinning medication called warfarin for treatment purposes
• People who have had another cancer in the past 5 years
• People with a history of HIV or AIDS, a history of immune system problems, or an active condition where the immune system attacks the body and requires ongoing treatment
• People with serious medical, neurological, or mental health conditions that would make it difficult to follow the full study treatment and attend all required assessments
• People whose brain drainage tube has broken, or who are unable to have a lumbar puncture (a procedure to collect fluid from around the spinal cord)
• People with uncontrolled long-term conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or chronic kidney disease
