Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 85 years old (any gender)
- You have been diagnosed with bladder tumors and confirmed through a biopsy or bladder surgery (TURBT) to have high-risk, early-stage bladder cancer that has not grown into the bladder muscle — this includes tumors at T1 stage, high-grade cancer, or multiple/returning tumors larger than 3 cm
- You have no more than 5 bladder tumors
- You want to keep your bladder (rather than have it removed)
- You are willing to sign a consent form and take part in the full trial
Who may not be able to join:
- Scans before surgery showed the cancer has spread to nearby organs (such as the ureters, prostate, or rectum), the pelvic or abdominal wall, or to lymph nodes or other parts of the body
- Scans showed a swollen/blocked kidney, or the cancer was found to be a specific widespread type (carcinoma in situ) or spread throughout the bladder during the diagnostic procedure
- You have a known allergy to chemotherapy or immunotherapy drugs
- You have a serious active infection in your blood or body
- You have a serious problem with blood clotting
- You have serious heart, brain, lung, liver, or kidney conditions that mean you cannot safely have surgery
- You currently have or have had another type of cancer
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have a condition such as a narrowed urethra that prevents a bladder camera procedure (cystoscopy)
- You are currently taking certain medications, including cancer treatments or immune-suppressing drugs
- You are already taking part in another clinical trial
- The trial team has another reason they feel makes your participation unsuitable (confirm with trial site)
