Who might be able to join this trial:

- You have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder (either Bipolar I or Bipolar II)

Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with, or are strongly suspected of having, an eating disorder such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or binge eating disorder
- You are currently following a special diet or making changes to your eating that are not part of this study
- Your depression is rated as very severe based on a standard questionnaire score (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently experiencing manic symptoms (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently having thoughts of suicide or self-harm (confirm with trial site)
- You currently have a problem with alcohol or drug misuse
- You are taking weight loss medications or supplements
- You are taking medications that may cause changes in your weight, unless your weight and medication have both been stable for at least 6 months

- You have had cancer in the past 2 years
- You have had major surgery in the past 3 months
- You have a medical condition that could interfere with taking part in the study (confirm with trial site)
