Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You (or your child) must have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), backed up by a specific standardised assessment test.

  • People who have an implanted electrical device in their body (for example, a vagal nerve stimulator).
  • People with an active skin condition that might make it difficult to wear the study's electrode patches.
  • People with a sleep disorder that, in the study doctor's opinion, could interfere with using the device at night (confirm with trial site).
  • People who are unable to communicate when they are feeling discomfort or pain.
  • People who are currently taking, or plan to keep taking, antipsychotic or stimulant medications.
