Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with melanoma (a type of skin cancer) that has spread to other parts of the body or has grown into surrounding tissue, confirmed by a tissue sample
- People whose cancer can be detected on specialist medical imaging scans (PET/CT or CT)
- People whose cancer has been assessed as not suitable for surgery
- People who have been assessed as medically suitable to receive immune checkpoint therapy (a type of cancer treatment that helps the immune system fight cancer)
- People who are able to read and understand patient information written in Danish, in order to give their consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose melanoma started in the eye or in the moist lining of the body (such as the mouth or nasal passages)
- People who have another active cancer at the same time
- People who have previously received immune checkpoint therapy as a systemic (whole-body) cancer treatment
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People who weigh more than 140 kg, which is the maximum weight limit for the scanning equipment used in the trial
- People who have had an allergic reaction to substances with a similar chemical make-up to the imaging agent used in this trial (confirm with trial site)
